1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
Hello, everyone. I’m mostly known as TKL-COMICS in this community. What can I tell you about my art? Well, I can only say that I love drawing, creating scenes, content, and stories related to the tickling fetish, whether it involves fictional or real characters. From my perspective, it’s something quite interesting. Have you ever wondered how a particular person would look in this situation? Well, at least that’s something I often ponder, and the result can be both fun and fascinating to see. Besides, if I can do it and have the capacity, why not, right? But, of course, it’s just my opinion, and there may be those who don’t share the same interest
2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
I use both techniques, both analog and digital. I always find that both techniques complement each other. Although I spent a lot of time drawing in an analog way in the past, I still do it today….
When it comes to artists who inspire me, there are too many, and the list continues to grow. New talents are always emerging, and it’s fascinating to see their work. There’s a lot of inspiration out there, especially with the advent of the internet; everything becomes more accessible now…
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
Now that you mention it, I feel like I’ve always enjoyed drawing. As far back as I can remember, I’ve always been drawing. I guess one is born with that innate desire to draw by default, at least that’s what I think….
The idea of creating tickling-themed drawings emerged several years ago because there comes a point when you ask yourself, ‘Do I want to be happy or just fit into society as something normal?’ Of course, I chose to be happy. Additionally, as I mentioned in a previous question, you start wondering how a particular character would look in such a situation. Since I knew how to draw, I thought, ‘Let’s do it,’ and voilà , here’s the result. The only difference was that I didn’t publish them at first. You know how it is in the beginning; you feel embarrassed about everything and worry about what people will think. At least that was the case for me. But later on, everything becomes more normal, and you realize that people appreciate what you create.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
In general, I enjoy drawing everything. It’s important to diversify and experiment with all kinds of scenarios. That’s the fun part of being able to create something. As an artist, you can come up with any situation, no matter how simple or complicated it may seem, and bring it to life through your drawings….
That’s our power as content creators – we just need to know how to harness it….
5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
The aspects I aim for involve capturing all the sensations associated with tickling. It might be challenging to depict numerous emotions in a single drawing, but I strive to achieve that. And if I don’t succeed, I keep trying until I achieve the desired result I want to convey…
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real scenes?
They contribute more than you might think. While real photos and videos are great and excellent, I don’t complain about them… But an image we create can be just as fascinating. We can put anyone in an illustration in any situation, whether real or fictional. Besides, people always want to see their favorite characters in slightly different situations than what we’re used to seeing. So, all of us contribute something to the community, whether it’s something real or something invented, like what we do in our illustrations….
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
There can be many factors, feelings, ideas, or whatever you want. Anyone you ask about this can give you a thousand different answers about why they engage in this. I could tell you it’s out of curiosity because often a topic like this grabs attention. It may seem uncommon, but it appears that there’s more and more content related to it. They say that these ‘kinks,’ if we can call them that, tend to attract more attention than usual. It seems like we always want to see something different, doesn’t it?…
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
In general, I like all my works. I don’t have a particular favorite. I feel that there’s always one better than the other with each passing day, but I don’t have a specific one. I could tell you that I really liked one I did a year ago, but now I prefer the current ones. Perhaps it’s because of the evolution one goes through, and the drawing technique improves with each day. Obviously, the current ones will look better than the ones from the beginning. That’s why I like them all. They had and will continue to have something special in their own time….
9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
For now, no… or maybe I’ll make another comic… I don’t know yet. Everything can change depending on the decisions one makes. Right now, I can tell you that I’ll do anything, but then I change my mind… that’s how it happens to me….
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
Both scenarios could happen; anything is possible. In the future, we will see whether it was a good or bad thing. It also depends on how much an AI allows you to create. It’s true that they are advancing very quickly, so we’ll have to wait and see what the limits are….
