Goat Tickle scenes in “Tiere Wie Wir”

“Tiere wie wir” is a German game show that aired in 2015. The program, hosted by Jürgen von der Lippe, features a group of celebrities answering curious questions about the animal world.

In each episode, two teams compete in a humorous knowledge contest. The questions posed revolve around topics such as: “In which areas are animals superior to us humans?”, “Can pigs count?”, “Are swans jealous and snakes deceitful?”, or “Can a cat feel shame?”. The teams must present solutions based on videos, images (including false images), and audio recordings of animals.

Similar to “Genial daneben,” the main goal is not competition but rather the humorous and explanatory approaches of the panel. The team captains are always Bernhard Hoëcker and Oliver Pocher, who welcome various guests. Additionally, veterinarian Dr. Wolf provides insights into the animal world and its human-like traits as an independent expert.

In March 2015, Sat.1 recorded a pilot episode of the comedy panel show, which was still hosted by Mirja Boes at that time.

The show hosts a segment in each episode during which a female guest is placed in a chair, stripped of her footwear, and her feet are covered with a sweet substance. A goat is then introduced and enticed to lick the guest’s feet in order to describe the sensation of the goat’s torture on a hypothetical victim.

Unfortunately, the four guests (Joyce Ilg, Andrea Kaiser, Enissa Amani) do not show that they are experiencing any particular tickling sensations, simply resulting in an amusing scene with the audience.
