1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
I’me EldelasCosquillas. I’m currently 24 years old, I live in Nicaragua and I’m a serious and reserved but friendly person. I started making tickle art back in 2017 if I’m not mistaken, (although like every artist, before making art publicly I was already making tickle drawings for myself) I had been on DeviantArt for some time as a spectator, until one day I decided to publish tickle art that I like and that maybe wasn’t seen much on the platform, like belly tickles or characters with little tickle art.
Leggi tutto: Tickle Artists #60: Interview with EldelasCosquillasThen I abandoned for a while all this because of mental fatigue and little desire to continue. After several months, I wanted to draw a little more, until I entered the tickle community on Tumblr and noticed how some very cool artists had “sonas” or Ocs that they used to better customize the tickles and I liked that, and that’s when I created the Tickle Monster, which is a character that represents the kind of tickles I like, and thanks to the support I keep publishing comics (which I forgot to mention I always wanted to make comics, I love them because they develop a very enjoyable tickle scene).
2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
My technique for making art is very primitive haha, first I make a sketch on a sheet of paper and then scan it so that I can later digitize it in Paint Tool Sai, I use Mause, so the process is longer and very tedious, but as such If you like my art I will continue doing it haha.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
I had my passion for drawing since I was little, my dad draws great and taught me some things he knew. I never went to drawing classes, although I would have liked to because I often have difficulties drawing some things, everything I do in art I learned by hand. And regarding my taste for tickling, I don’t remember when it started but I do remember that I was a small child and when a tickling scene appeared on a program I found it fascinating, I even watched national channels where episodes of some series were repeated. animated, and I was waiting for the moment when that scene appeared haha.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I was always a lover of tickling the belly, thighs, hips, chubby bellies… basically few tickled spots in the art of that time. My NSFW art always portrayed a method of tickle torture that focused on tickling the aforementioned spots at the same time, including intimate areas of the body, since I also love being cruel with tickling. Now thanks to the tickle monster, my taste in tickling scenarios has evolved, I discovered that I love using teasing in tickling, it’s another way to torment the Lee while making them laugh, so combining that with incessant tickling and merciless makes it my favorite method, not to mention how cool it is that a scene like that can develop in a comic.
5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
I like all those characteristics, especially the relationship between Tickler and Ticklee, which is something I usually represent in my comics. I could also add a couple of things: the blushing face, whether from tickling or teasing, I think that shows that everything you do to a Lee is having an effect, and a blushing face seems very cute and fascinating to me. And Lee’s facial expression, I think is one of the most important things, that characteristic can undoubtedly improve a drawing. I also like to add exaggerated laughter without room for dialogue because of so much laughing.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real scenes?
I think the reason why all or most of us love tickling illustrations is because it splendidly reflects our fantasies. The aspects that we give to the characters and the way in which we recreate tickling make us fascinated with what we see, because in fiction there are elements that we like.
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I think it is the fact of seeing how someone becomes so vulnerable and nervous in the face of this type of physical contact that is so beautiful and socially harmless (clearly speaking of a consensual act), exploring the person’s body, touching very sensitive parts that they make you go even more crazy, and the fact of making the tickling prolonged to make the person become more and more hysterical is simply pleasurable, and of course, just the fact of exploring a person’s body in search of tickling is hot. There are also people who don’t find tickling to be sexual but still have the same passion for it, and maybe those people can give you a different point of view, but the important thing is that tickling is the best fetish/fixation there is.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
I think some of my favorite pieces are the ones I drew because there wasn’t much art about it (as I mentioned in a previous question) that included characters and under-tickled body parts. But without a doubt, what I am very proud of is having created the Tickle Monster, and if it were not for the good reception I had for him I would not continue drawing today.
9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
Not really so much, I have planned a series of comics where a mini story is developed that involves the tickle monster and new characters that will be important at that moment, but it would be patiently waiting, since I don’t have much time to draw because of my work. , but one day it will come out.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
Everything an AI does in art will only hinder an artist’s stay in the world. I don’t hate the people who use them, we have to accept that it is something that is here to stay, but the problem with AI in the tickling community is that on some platforms like DeviantArt it is very saturated with these, and it is unfair because the results What an image made by AI gives is dull, indifferent, soulless, and even mediocre, that is because AI has no conscience, an artist does, an artist knows the power of tickling and how to use it, they know how a Lee reacts When it is tickled, they know how to create scenarios, laughter, expressions, etc. and that is what makes art attractive, its humanity, because we have an abstract concept about any topic, while AI does not know anything about what it generates, it only replicates what we do.
