1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
Tickle-Fetish-Comics is a new channel on DeviantArt, but the owner of the channel is fairly experienced in making comics. The comics you will find on “Tickle-Fetish-Comics” will vary across multiple genre, but the main comic of the channel will be “Tease and Tickle Models” where you will follow the story of multiple young women (early 20’s) who make their living by being tickled. The main character and the face of the channel is Jessica Holland, a well-known and beloved character in the tickle community.
2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
Well… I don’t exactly draw these out. If I could draw, I would prefer to do it that way, but I can’t. Instead, I use a software called Daz3D to make my images, which can take a fair amount of time by setting up the scene and positioning the characters how you want them. Fortunately, I was able to put back a decent bit of money to buy a powerful enough computer to handle just about anything Daz throws my way. I’ll give a bit of advice to anyone interested in using Daz for making content. You will need a somewhat powerful computer to do it. Bae minimum, I would recommend a gaming laptop, but that’s at the bare minimum.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
I always dreamed of being able to draw well enough to start a comic or manga, but I could never achieve that level of artistic skill. Thankfully, we have other tools now to help aspiring artists achieve their goals. As for the tickling, I remember watching several shows whenever I was younger that could have benefited greatly from a tickling scene. Many cartoon or anime characters would be showing so much skin, that tickling was the first thing my mind jumped to when I saw them. After years of not getting the scenes I craved, I found DeviantArt which gave me some ideas. Ten years ago I started out just writing multiple stories about characters being tickled. Now I make comics to show the illustrations I have imagined.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I’m not picky when it comes to scenarios, but I refuse to do anything that involves rape. The vast majority of my content is consensual by the characters who often know what they’re getting themselves into. Every once in a while, I plan to make a one-off comic where the circumstances aren’t in a controlled environment and the threats are actually real, but those are planned to be rarities.
My favorite scenario, however? I’d have to say the willing ticklee. The woman wears some very revealing clothing and invites her tickler to tie her down and have as much fun with her as they please. Sexy, satisfying, and probably a total fantasy in my head.
5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
Well, my comics feature a lot of tickling, but at the end of the day, they are trying to tell a story. I need to have an overall story for my comics, otherwise I get bored and making the comic just becomes a chore. The tickling is fun, and I enjoy making all the poses and making the scene as fun or humorous as possible, but I think the story is what ultimately keeps me going.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
Illustrations can capture things that real life just can’t, which is why I prefer tickling are and comics over videos. In an illustration, the scenarios can be limitless. Characters can get caught in a haunted house and be tickled by the spirits that dwell there, they can be kidnapped and taken to some farm miles away from the next house, or they can be set in a spaceship with aliens invading their ship to conduct experiments on them. With fiction, the possibilities are endless. With real models, you’re very limited to what you’ll ultimately get.
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I guess it ultimately depends on the individual. For me, I like it when women wearing crop tops or short tops face their punishment for wearing such inviting clothing.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
Unfortunately, my channel has a very small amount of content on it at this time, but for throwing something out there, I’m very proud of my first chapter of “Tease and Tickle Models”.
9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
Not really. I just want to make art, and potentially make a bit of money from my hobby. My comics are free, but in black and white. Colored comics are available for people who subscribe to my DA channel.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
AI can go in either way. I have seen some AI art that was actually pretty decent. Do I think they’ll replace actual artists? No. At least, not anytime soon. Artists have direct control over what they make whereas AI has to be fine tuned to the smallest little detail.
