1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

I’m TheCrocsTongue. Well there’s not really much to say about myself. I’m just your average run of the mill type of person who happens to have a few kinks (like most people I’m sure). I tend to create my art as a way of escape from the real world, we all know the world and civilisation is on a downward spiral right now. I do get enjoyment out of creating these images and there seems to be likeminded people that enjoy viewing them. I do create “normal” images as well but don’t post those online. I actually create more of those than I do the fetish related stuff but I noticed they don’t get viewed or commented on quite as much.

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

I don’t have an official art background as such. I didn’t enjoy art in my teenage years as much as when I was younger. Secondary school was so different, you didn’t get to use your imagination, we had to just copy things from books. Must have had lazy teachers but it did me know favours in that regard and I lost my passion for it. I don’t have a favourite artist either, I just create what I want to, it normally involves recreating something I viewed in a cartoon as a child.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

I was definitely born with a passion for creating but kind of lost it and became lazier as I grew older. I partly blame societal habits and my school I attended for that as I stated before they didn’t encourage use of your imagination. I’m also to blame though as I could have continued at home but didn’t again until my late twenties I’d say.

Tickling on the other hand is probably something that was introduced to me through the media along with interest in women’s feet. One of my earliest memories is eating my breakfast before school, I must have been about 7 or 8 at the time. We were watching the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles and got to see April O’Neil (who I kind of had a crush on anyway) having her foot tickled with a feather and it got me aroused. I only got to see that episode just once but kept tuning in to see it again or see if any other villains would do the same to her. There was just something about seeing her barefoot let alone seeing it tickled, it was like a forbidden fruit as I never saw her feet before.

The few relationships I’ve had, I’ve been lucky enough that my partners let me incorporate tickling into the bedroom. With them always being at the receiving end of course. They actually enjoyed it as much as I enjoyed tickling them too.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

Anything involving women’s feet and a feather. I have no idea why, just seems to be the way my brain is wired I guess. I can only think it is the April O’Neil scene that inspires me still.

One of my exes is the only one I ever told about my foot fetish and she was really understanding about it and enjoyed the attention she got to her feet. She also kind of looked like April O’Neil so I got lucky in that respect lol.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

I tend to represent bondage quite a bit now that I think about it. I do prefer when a woman is enjoying it too, I find women’s laughter to be a huge turn on. Now that I think about it, all my fetishes seem to be linked. I like women’s laughter and their feet if they’re looked after, tickling their feet so I can hear their laughter. Maybe I have a fetish for women’s laughter really and the others are a means to an end?

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?

I think illustrations offer more because you can create literally anything you want. You’re limited in real life scenarios for the most part though I’m still a fan.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

I really don’t have an answer for that as I don’t fully understand why I do. The only thing I can say is that I think it stems from experiences in our childhoods though everyone’s reasons will be different of course.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

Probably my latest ones. I feel like I’m finally getting a decent style of my own and hope to just keep getting better. I’m quite proud of some of my GIFS I created, they usually involve some firm of photoshop and editing as I’ve recreated a couple of scenes that originally featured male characters. I’d say my adult Dee Dee from Dexter getting her clothes pulled off is one of my best as it looks alot like the original scene featuring Dexter. I never did like the fact that it was ok to put male characters in those scenarios but not females so I’m kind of writing a few wrongs with my artworks too lol.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

Not really, I just enjoy doing what I’m doing. I guess I just hope to continue to improve the quality and style.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

I’m 50/50 on that. I think it will impoverish it for many artists that have their soul income coming from their artwork. I’m lucky I have a day job so anything I can earn from this is a bonus that I’m grateful for.

On the other hand it’s enriching in the sense that anybody who isn’t particularly artistic can feel like they have created something amazing just purely from describing what they want to see. I have seen many great pieces created through AI but one thing that I don’t see is it having the heart or love that a human artist can capture.
