Tickle Artists #101: Interview with RZ54

1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art? 

I’m RZ54. Well, all of this started as a hobby and has almost become a full-fledged job because of how profitable it has been for me (mainly to help my family).

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you? 

– My technique usually varies depending on the type of drawing, but I almost always focus on values, proportions and perspectives 

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the tickling one? 

Before delving into this fetish topic, I entered the furry fandom, which later connected with this desire for tickling and I ended up having a lot of fun in the process.

4) What tickling scenarios do you prefer to draw? 

I like those that have a lot of equipment for both tickling and bondage, especially those for tickle torture that aim to be very cruel to the victim (in a good way of course XD).

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you aim to represent with your art? Example: the laughter, the squirming, the relationship between tickler and ticklee? 

I like to represent the expressions, they are a fundamental point to show the personality (and resistance) that the victim has.

6) There are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions on the Internet. In your opinion, what do the illustrations offer more than real life images? 

The images themselves capture a moment in time, sometimes a single image together with imagination can do much more than the limitations of real life, bring out impossible fantasies and explore the infinite possibilities. 

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon? 

I think it’s the fact of going through such an intense, hectic and fun activity that makes it such a great experience.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goal for the future? 

For the moment and as I mentioned at the beginning, my main goal is to help my parents with whatever I can generate (money speaking), but if along the way I manage to inspire someone else to delve into this silly world of tickling, that would also be great!

10) Do you think AI will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling the performances?

AI is advancing to a very incredible level, it is very likely that it will manage to replicate everything sooner or later, I would say a bit of both. If we overload ourselves with material made by AI, the existing pieces will lose their value because sometimes when we have less, we value it more.
