1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
Hi, I’m LadySDino. I’m an artist that quitted a job in which I was doing a lot of comics for very little money and almost doing about 60 hours per week. Sad, burned out and frustrated, I left that to give a shot to the online furry community.
Leggi tutto: Tickle Artists #47: Interview with LadySDinoWhen I entered the NSFW business I was surprised of how broad is the furry community and how kind the people are.
I always dreamed about creating NSFW comic stories and Anthro OC’s.
So I feel really lucky about my actual job.
2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
Im a digital artist, so I use Photoshop for pretty much everything with just a little exceptions in which I use illustrator.
My drawing tablet is a Wacom Cintiq 16HD.
As for tickle artists i admire, the truth is that I really admire how RZ24 manages his social media and also how Caroo manages to keep such a large amount of people engaged and happy with his productions.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
I have been drawing since I was like 5 years old. My grandfather had an art studio. He is a sculptor and a painter, so he gave me and my siblings art materials to play with when he had to take care of us. My siblings found it funny to play with but I found my passion for drawing.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
Well, all of them are pretty fun to draw in their own way, the machinery is great cuz it can be brutal, and u can play with many tickle spots at the same time.
Tickle fights are on my top too, I think they have that sexual and playful tension, and you can add some combat in between (and I really enjoy drawing fighting sequences), that allows you to move fluidly between funny scenes, action scenes and spicy scenes.
And my last but not least favorite are bites. Tickling by love bites are just… hot!
5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
Well I think I have 2 main obsessions, the first is facial expression. I think as the face is the most expressive part of the body it’s a place where the tickles will always be more evident no matter where you are tickling.
From the first contained chuckles to the wildest face of someone that it’s being destroyed, drawing good expressions really gives a tickle piece a lot of character.
My second obsession is feet, opposite to the face, feet are something that is not always visible in our daily life. So doing expressive feet is indeed a challenge, but I always have fun drawing curled, twisted blended feet. just give extra spice to every art piece! ^,..,^
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real scenes?
Well in my personal opinion, I don’t tend to like tickle pictures or videos. The problem with them, at least for me, is that many times the tickles, when the lee reacts not as much, feel they are being faked; and when they react a lot, it feels overacted. I mean, in very few videos you can feel like the thing it’s really happening. In Art representation on the other hand, I think having the chance to exaggerate and make everything more expressive really hits the correct buttons for me.
That’s why I give so much importance and practice to expression on my art pieces. So I can tell that you would enjoy my art with that plus. Well… at least if you have the same impression about irl tickle content.
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
Well, I have heard many different opinions, so to give an objective answer I would have to summarize everything. I find it better to just give you my own reason for why I like tickles. I believe that tickles are a very good way to mix stuff, they can be sex they can be torture like on a BDSM scenario, they can be just innocent play, or spicy foreplay, they are very flexible imo.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
Well I have overworked my dino ass to do Starfox alternative training methods. I think this comic is that thing that I’m most proud of to this point.
9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
Well eventually I would like to create my own story, like with my own Oc’s, a cast with a lot of dinosaurs, a tickle and spicy comic.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
Well, I think it’s a controversial topic, almost nothing can be said about it that will not be questioned by someone, but one thing is a fact: AI is a faster and cheaper way to produce art, so it is already having an impact on the art industry.
But for me, as the AI is too recent, the truth is that it is very generic and unoriginal. That can make me say that the impact of AI on tickle art, for the moment, is impoverishing. I think many artists’ social media are being polluted by AI pieces that look all the same to a point that is kinda annoying. Many people ask for a filter to hide all IA art from their feeds cuz AI is being produced at a rate that is so fast that if you dont filter it, it’s sure that you will be flooded by a lot of that art just covering all the original art from your fellow artists. Don’t get me wrong, some AI pieces do look technically great but it sucks out all the variety from your daily art doze.
