1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
Hi I’m Jwdeifneiw (Just call me JD), I make foot fetish/tickling artwork and stories.
Leggi tutto: Tickle Artists #113: Interview with Jwdeifneiw2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
I typically start with a traditional sketch on paper with pencil, then once I’m happy with it I’ll refine it digitally on the computer. How much of it is done digitally depends on how good the initial drawing is. Sometimes they are almost entirely drawn digitally, but other times I don’t have to change much. Regarding artists that inspire me, there are probably too many to count. My biggest inspiration is Junji Ito. My style is heavily influenced by his, and he is also the reason I do black and white art (with the exception of one drawing so far). I am a huge horror fan, so of course I went for an art style that fits a horror aesthetic. As far as fetish artists go, CeeAyBee was one of my favorites. And a lot of his work was horror inspired so that makes sense. Also KandenRem, Billy Buddy (theflynghamster), Badpierrot, and PolarbearNSFW. There’s many more (too many to count) but those 5 are my favorites.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
When I was a child I drew/doodled a lot but as I grew up I stopped. I only got back into drawing maybe 5 years ago. I have a foot fetish, tickling for me is just another way to express that fetish. I definitely enjoy tickling but I am primarily a foot fetishist. and I was born with my foot fetish, I’ve always had it.
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I’m kind of an oddball in the foot/tickle community. My work focuses on */F and mature women tickling younger women (although I also make footjob pics and want to experiment more with those). As I said before I am a big fan of horror not only with my art style but also some of the scenarios I create are horror inspired. I love creatures and monsters, really anything spooky related. So naturally those are my favorite ticklers to draw (alongside mature women). I’m not entirely sure which specific scenarios I prefer to draw. Although I will say that I am a sucker for scenarios in which the ticklee is stuck somewhere and can’t get free.
5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
This is something I have to work on, but I really want my art to show good expression and movement. I want the ticklees’ facial expression to look believable and be enjoyable to look at. And I want there to be a sense of movement in my work. I want it to really look like the lee is thrashing around, or the ler is really tormenting their soles.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
It may be a bit cliche to say, but with illustrations you can really create any fantasy you want and that’s what makes it so powerful. I also think there is something so visually appealing about fictional women that makes people gravitate towards them. Real life women are beautiful and nice to look at of course. But fictional women are typically designed to be as attractive as can be, it doesn’t matter if they are from animated films, tv shows, comics, manga, or video games. The same applies to the whole art piece as well, not just the women. The real world can look boring at times. And even when it looks spectacular, illustrations/artwork can blow it out of the water. I’ll put it to you like this, I would love to tickle Margot Robbie’s feet. But if I had to choose between tickling her feet or Tracer’s (from Overwatch) feet, I would choose the latter in a heartbeat.
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I think the main reason tickling is appealing to some is due to the reactions of the ticklee, the power dynamic it can offer, and also simply how it feels. But I also think there is something to be said about how tickling is often viewed as “harmless” and at times “childish.” It’s like taking advantage of something that people typically don’t think they can take advantage of (at least not to an extreme).
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
I think “Lucille’s payment” and “Lindsay’s Pest Problem” are the works I’m most proud of. I like how the drawings came out and the stories are solid. Not to mention they both involve either mature women or insects (insect tickling is a favorite of mine). LPP holds a special place in my heart because it was my first drawing I posted and because it was so well received it pretty much is the reason I continued making tickle art.
9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
Aside from the typical goal of wanting to improve my craft, I would love to make a full blown tickle comic written and illustrated by myself. Right now when I write stories for my pics I keep the stories shorter to make up for the time I had to spend drawing. And my non illustrated stories don’t have pics to go along with them often due to how long they take to write (and those take much longer than drawings). But with a comic I would be able to accomplish both. I would also love to collaborate with other artists and maybe do some animation work.
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
I think A.I. can help with some aspects, specifically getting inspiration/ideas/references. But I definitely don’t want it to replace real artists and if I’m being honest I don’t consider A.I. artists to be real artists. It definitely worries me to say the least.
