1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

Hello, I am Dead Pan Erotic, or just Pan is fine. I graduated with an art degree almost 15 years ago in design and illustration, much has changed in the space and I am admittingly a newcomer to doing fetish art “professionally”.

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

Ironically the technique I use the most is smudging/blending for shading, a thing my art professor yelled at me for doing all the time lol. As far as this space, I would say the most inspiring fetish artist I’ve come across is Bub Moni. Their use of shading and color theory is top notch and often the standard I’m trying to accomplish, often failing in trying to do so :P.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

I have been drawing forever, some fetish art may or not have gotten me in trouble in my adolescence. As far as tickling art, that is fairly new to me. I think of myself as a foot artist, and the tickling art was born out of requests from the community.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

Foot stocks are often in my work and I usually am not known for including tools like feathers and brushes. Seeing hands on feet is more intimate for me.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

All of the above, there is a degree of trust involved like any other kink play, and who doesn’t want to see their partner laugh. I’m still trying to perfect wiggle lines, but I’ll get there.

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?

The realizations of specific fantasies. If you are requesting or commissioning from me, it is probably because there isn’t a large degree of your specific interest available.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

While I have dabbled in this kink, I will remind readers I am from a foot fetish background, and as a foot guy, having that much time to do whatever with your partner’s feet is a plus. No rush, just soles on display. Pretty great.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

I have a catalog of pieces from my Spouse Studies series featuring foot play with my partner sketched out for subscribers, as far as public pieces, I would recommend “Strength of 100 Soles” for your audience.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

-Gather a steady and loyal fanbase/community. I would be lying if I didn’t say I’m doing this as a side hussle, but having people with similar interests around me can really help push my art to new directions as well.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

AI art is the death of the commission business, regardless of which circles you cater to. I think if one wants to use it for reference, it’s a great tool. Though, publishing the work it spits out as your own is just kind of shitty in my opinion, especially when you charge for it.
