Hello, my name is RemirTheShadow, and I am both a writer and an art commissioner with a passion for tickling-themed illustrations. Although it has been a few years since I last wrote, I have been deeply involved in both writing and commissioning artwork for over 15 years. My journey into this unique niche of creative expression began as a personal interest, and it has evolved into a dedicated pursuit over time.
Leggi tutto: Commissioning Tickling Art: Interview with RemirTheShadowMy Approach to Commissioning Tickling Art
When it comes to commissioning tickling-themed art, my preferences and approach are quite specific. I am particularly drawn to the beginning stages of tickling, where the focus is on the buildup and the challenge rather than on the more extreme or erotic aspects. I find the anticipation and fear in the character’s eyes compelling, as they slowly come to realize what’s about to happen. The tension, the struggle to resist, and the eventual surrender to laughter or movement are elements I seek to capture in the artwork I commission.
I tend to favor creating a series of illustrations that tell a believable story, making each piece a part of a larger narrative. While I often commission anime-inspired characters, I also appreciate Western styles and occasionally explore those as well. My commissions can range from simple and straightforward to more elaborate and unique concepts, often focusing on underrated characters or those with little existing art.
My approach to commissioning is largely driven by my personal tastes, though I recognize that the appeal of my commissioned works can vary among different audiences. I enjoy experimenting with different styles and series, sometimes focusing intensely on a specific new series that has caught my interest. My preferences can be somewhat fickle, as I may shift from one project to another depending on what excites me at the moment.
Budget Considerations:
In terms of budget, I strive to find the best possible deals for the artwork I commission, typically keeping costs under $50 per piece. However, I am open to exceptions when a particular project demands a higher investment.
Writing and Collaboration:
My journey into writing was somewhat unexpected. After losing my job, I was encouraged by a friend to try my hand at writing due to my active participation in role-playing (RP) sessions. Inspired by my favorite TK writer, Jaynin, I developed a writing style that, to my surprise, resonated with some readers despite my tendency to overlook spelling errors.
I also want to acknowledge my creative partner, DarkShaquille, whose support and collaboration have been instrumental in bringing many of my commissioned pieces to life. Without his contributions, many of the artworks I have commissioned would not have been possible.
