1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

I’m never really sure what to say about myself. My name on Deviantart is Mahogany78 (MaguNSFW on every other platform).
I’m British and have a background in game development, primarily focused on coding and 3D art. My knowledge of creating 3D art and animations stems from this experience and wanting to make games. I did start doing this and uploading the things I made during the pandemic.

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

Most of the time, I explore different shaders and techniques, like adding colour ramps to textures for an anime or comic-style effect. When posing models, I often try to add normal maps to create detailed features, such as wrinkles on feet or face. The first software I used for tickle-related animations was SFM , where I created two RWBY animations and a Y’shtola one. This eventually led me to discover Blender3D, which I now use for almost all of my larger projects. For quicker, anime-styled projects, I’ve also used tools like Koikatsu.

For inspiration, ijwt, BaronStrap, Elklord, PolarbearNSFW, and AUXP.

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

It’s hard to pinpoint exactly where my passion for this started, but I think it came from an attempt to learn drawing. Unfortunately, drawing caused wrist pain and cracking sounds when I moved, so I had to stop. From there, I thought I knew how to model in 3d and animate. My passion for 3D animation and art was inspired by early SFM animations and Gmod pose pictures. I also enjoyed general gaming and a lot of the art I looked at the time.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

Most of the time, I enjoy creating futuristic machines, sci-fi, and medieval devices, as well as simpler tools like ropes. mostly I try to focus on teasing scenarios with a feather or more intense “torture” scenarios with a brush. Also interrogation or a tough girl being broken by tickling. I also like to find characters that don’t receive much attention sometimes if a model is around them.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

A big focus in my work is conveying emotions through laughter and facial expressions. Capturing the right look—whether it’s excitement, pleasure, or defeat from teasing or orgasm play—can be difficult, but it does pay out in the end nailing that expression.

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?

It’s all fantasy for me. While IRL sessions can be enjoyable, art and modelling allow for greater exploration of fantasies. For example, you can design a tickle machine to interrogate a spy and leave them in it for three days of nonstop tickling. It’s an exciting way to push the boundaries of imagination.

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

Tickle art is fun, and it fits into so many other fetishes, such as BDSM and feet. People often enjoy exploring the limits of pleasure or pain, and tickling is a unique way to do that.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

One of my earliest animations was “Pharah’s Wall Tickling,” which was my first commissioned piece and my first proper animation. As for renders, I’m particularly proud of the “Mercy Check-Up” and “Ruby’s Workout” renders. I loved how they turned out, especially the lighting. It was also one of the first times I worked with reflections and texture editing.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

My primary goal is to continue learning techniques for animation, lighting, texturing, and modelling. I aim to bring more life to my renders and make them feel less stiff or static. I’d also love to delve further into game making—whether fetish-related or not and help people make their games too.

10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?

AI is an interesting and somewhat strange tool, but I think it has the potential to positively impact tickling art and art in general. If it’s used to give guidelines to an artist for commission useful for generating references for expressions, poses, or even machines for tickling and orgasm control, AI could become a useful tool for artists. There just needs to be better protection in place for artist work being used in random ai generations.
