1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?
My name is HyperJinxx. You can call me Hyper if you want. I’ve been drawing for some years now in which started off with me drawing regular pictures of existing video game/anime characters then eventually making my own for fetish art just as a hobby.
Leggi tutto: Tickle Artists #98: Interview with HyperJinx2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?
I don’t really use any special techniques when it comes to drawing digitally since my style is pretty basic to say the least, but I do use references. My friends around me are all really good artists and they help me improve and inspire me. When it comes to artists on the fetish side I can’t name one so I’ll name a few that I like: MostlyFunStuff, BluishFeather, Wtfeather, and I like seeing RemirTheShadow‘s commissions. There are a lot more, but just a short list.
3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?
I started taking drawing a little more seriously when I was in middle school. I drew a bunch of video game characters, but I specialized in Sonic characters. As for what got me into drawing tickling, it took a lot of thinking cause I was shy about stepping out of my comfort zone and drawing stuff like tickling. Once I finished my first picture I thought it was really fun and I enjoy it now!
4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?
I like drawing almost any kind of scenario for tickling, but I guess my favorite would probably have to be lotus position or any position where the ticklee is restrained and has little to no room to struggle or move.
5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?
I think I like focusing more on the reaction to tickling. Each character that I have I try giving them different facial expressions in response to how they’re being tickled whether it’s how I draw their mouth or their eyes. So they kind of have their own reaction in a way.
6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?
When it comes to drawings and illustrations you can literally draw whatever you want versus photos you’re limited reality where somethings are just not possible.
7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?
I think it’s because it’s playful and it doesn’t hurt anyone, but I can’t speak for everyone. I’m sure some people could agree with that. Some people just like it just because they like it and they have no idea why kind of like me.
8) What are your works of which you are most proud?
It’s a little recent, but I drew my two characters, Kaylee and Lilith, wrapped together by tentacles and being tickled on their feet. I like how that one turned out.
9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?
I want to improve my overall art skills and start making comics with my characters. I even want to start animating them too!
10) Do you think AIs will end up enriching or impoverishing the art of tickling representations?
I honestly used to not mind AI, but my opinion of it slowly started to change negatively. The look of some AI drawings just don’t really look right to me sometimes. Plus it’s not an actual artist making the drawings, so it loses charm. There will be people out there who like AI, but I really don’t think it’ll take over or anything. I’m sure most people would prefer an artist over AI
