Tickling Artists #96: Interview with Klaudsan

1) Do you want to tell us something about yourself and your art?

Sure, my name is Klaudsan, and I do mostly commission art. Mostly all the request is tickle art but i have do other art too.

2) What techniques do you use to draw? Do you have a favorite artist that inspires you?

Mostly i do digital anime style art. There are a lot of artists that inspire me but if I wanna start from the beginning, Dragon Ball, aka Akira Torimaya is the start that I love to draw..

3) How much was the passion for drawing born in you? And the one for the tickle?

I think drawing is natural for me.. since i was just a little kid I like to draw from my old schoolbook haha. As for tickling, it’s fun to see all the art requested, to see all people who request, react to the drawing that shows playful interaction that brings out laughter and connection. It makes me happy.

4) What are the tickling scenarios that you prefer to draw?

I’d imagine some playful scenarios would be really fun to illustrate! Currently most tickle art at belly button too.

5) What are the aspects of tickling that you intend to represent with your art? Example: the laughing, the wriggling, the relationship between tickler and ticklee?

For tickler and ticklee I could be explored through their expressions, showcasing trust, affection, and shared fun.I like to draw their expressions.. so their facial expression is important to me 🙂

6) Online there are countless photos and videos of tickling sessions. In your opinion, what do illustrations offer more than images of real life?

For me, illustrations have a unique charm that photos and videos can’t quite capture, making the experience feel different than other media.

Because i do mostly anime art style, i can express more on their expression of the characters and i can do more crazy and nsfw work too

7) In your opinion, what makes tickling so interesting for fans of this phenomenon?

i think, the element of surprise and spontaneity that keeps it exciting. For some, the dynamics of power and play—like the tickler and ticklee roles add another layer of excitement and joy.

8) What are your works of which you are most proud?

My most proud artwork is this one 

it is quite fun because it captures emotions vividly, like it’s like in Demon Slayer s2, just imagine what if this scene happens, it will be fun right!. I’d also cherish works that spark connections among viewers too.

9) Do you have any particular artistic goals for the future?

I’d like to explore different styles and techniques, perhaps blending traditional and digital art style to create something cool.. but dunno it will work or not hehe.. I just hope my coloring skill gets better, currently i don’t feel it getting better or not, i think.. but oh well that future me problem!
